What Are the Benefits of CE Marking?
This week, the Dutch king and queen began their state visit to Brexit-bound Great Britain.
Yesterday, October 23rd, Queen Elizabeth spoke publicly on Brexit for the first time during the Dutch royal visit.
She said to the King of the Netherlands that "as we look toward a new partnership with Europe" the values shared by the UK and Holland "are our greatest assets".
We live in a world where the future of the European Union is unsure, where Trump wants to build a wall and tensions with Russia and Turkey are constantly rising.
Often, we seem to have forgotten what working together has brought us over the years. I always like to bring up the below illustration, which shows how conflicts/wars stopped existing since the founding of the European Union.
Until the late eighties, most of the EU member states had their own product safety regulations. Working together since the founding of the EU resulted in the development of the brilliant CE Marking system.
Forgotten what the benefits of CE marking are? I have added this to my CE Marking article.
